i can make a chewbacca sound

so i've had the same screen name for the past 10 years. mike1billion. i thought it was ingenious in 7th grade. today is the day i have a new screen name. chewie1billion.

you might be wondering why the big life change? why now? won't this alter the direction of your life? did you consider the legal implications of such a screen name? well you see, i just graduated from college and things are changing in my life so rapidly, my screen name has no choice but to catch up. whether i break the law or not.

ok that is completely sarcastic. nothing has changed in my life - yet - i'm waiting. waiting for time to pass. you see, i work well on deadlines. if nothing catastrophic will happen, then i will accomplish nothing. if the fate of my life depends on a specific action in time, i am inclined to act.

for example:

i have grown larger in my lazy college days. so this week i started to long board to work. it takes 15 minutes to go 2 miles, the first mile takes less than 5 minutes. the first mile is all down hill - my favorite way to exercise. i stand there and gravity does all the work. then the disappointment sets in when i have to kick with one foot to keep the momentum. its lazy man's running, and the result (after many miles traveled) will be a greatly enlarged right leg, and a dwarfed left leg. this condition will likely cause me to walk around in great big circles, much like the way i converse - talking in great big logical, redundant circles.

the catastrophic event that causes me to act in this situation will be 5 o'clock. 5 o'clock means I am done working. they don't want me hanging around anymore. go home.

5 o'clock means i now have to face the consequences of the easy decision i made this morning of long boarding to work. it was downhill this morning and now its all uphill. 15 minutes will turn into 30, maybe 40 minutes. the wide open streets are now congested with traffic. traffickers on the hunt for guys who are longboarding home from work.

i hope someone hits me so i can sue and further avoid signing my life over to a career...
